Nepal Luxury Golf Tour

Nepal may be remembered for trekking in the Himalayas, mountaineering expeditions or rafting down the rushing rivers. Very few visitors know that Nepal is also an ideal destination for golfers. We have some famous golf courses that provides excellent opportunity to play in the tranquil natural settings and in the back drop of spectacular Himalayan panorama. Following are some of our Golf resorts and clubs.

GOKARNA GOLF RESORT & SPA
Kathmandu

South Asia's finest, and one of the world's most spectacular Golf Courses and resort. Crafted by lead architect David Mclay Kidd, assisted by Director of Turf-Grass Management, James Kidd, under the direction of Gleneagles Golf Developments. Undulating Bent Grass Greens built to USGA specifications. Soft cushions of local Bermuda fairways. Lush unyielding forests-hundreds of years old. Winding streams. Wandering hills and valleys opening to a holy river's plain. Cynical monkeys watching your progress. Flock of shy spotted deer peering from under the trees. The lofty Himalayas keeping score. Truly enchanting. Wander through the highlights of all 6,715 yards of this magical par 72 golf course.

ROYAL NEPAL GOLF CLUB
Airport, Kathmandu

Originally called the Gauchar Golf Club, Royal Nepal Golf Club is the oldest golf course in Nepal and possibly one of the oldest golf clubs in South Asia. Established in 1917, the club was given royal patronage by His late Majesty King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah in 1965. During its long history, many members of the royal family and visiting foreign dignities have graced the club. The club has a very challenging 9-hole golf course, which organizes over 26 golf tournaments annually, including His Majesty's Birthday Cup and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Birthday Cup and held the first ever Nepal Open Golf Tournament for professionals of the region for 6 years.

YETI GOLF COURSE, FULBARI RESORT AND SPA
Pokhara

Yeti Golf Course, Fulbari Resort, PokharaThe Yeti's Golf course is perched on the brink of a Green Canyon gorges overlooking a most unusual riverscape of terraces and steeply forested bank of the River Seti flowing 300 ft. below. The area is tranquil, the views of the Himalayas to the north, and the Seti River far below, makes golfing here a very unusual experience. Although it is only a 9 holes course, the use of alternate tees, greens, and pin positions, gives the golfers the feeling of playing a full 18-hole layout. One needs 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish the first round of the holes. It's quite difficult because of the deliberate small greens, narrow fairways and closed out-of bound (O/B) fenced with surrounding water ponds. A number of the tee shots across the Seti Gorge is mentally challenging even to the best golfers.
