What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I specialize in treks through the Everest region—especially routes starting from lower Solukhumbu, including Pangom, my home village. I love guiding groups to iconic destinations like Everest Base Camp, as well as more peaceful alternatives such as Dudh Kunda and Pikey Peak. My passion is sharing Sherpa village life, Buddhist heritage, and local festivals with my guests."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Growing up in Pangom, I watched my elders welcome trekkers into our village. Their stories of mountain adventure inspired me, and as soon as I was old enough, I began working as a porter and later trained as a licensed trekking guide. Over the years, guiding has become much more than work—it’s a calling to share my homeland’s beauty."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"A moment that stands out is when I led a small group on a home-stay trek through Solukhumbu during Mani Rimdu festival. Guests joined in village festivities, learned Buddhist rituals, and shared meals with local families. Watching travelers and villagers learn from each other—and seeing the happiness on both sides—reminded me of the power of real cultural exchange."
